It doesn’t seem that long ago that we were signing the Sale & Purchase agreement for our new house and thinking that 6 weeks would be ages until we moved.
Well we are almost there; today is the start of the last week we will be living in our current house.
While I am very excited and can’t wait to get into the new house, unpack our things and get settled in, the move is also tinged with a little sadness too.
22 Kinmont Crescent was our first house, we bought it just after we got engaged, we got married while we were here, had Brianna here (really almost actually had Brianna here), and many other occasions.
There are a lot of memories tied up in this house and I guess you will always have a soft spot for your first house. So when we say goodbye on Saturday it will be a little sad, but it will be like starting a new chapter in our life, in a new house, where we will create many more happy memories.
So roll on the weekend and let the moving begin!
