It is probably worth mentioning that in the four years that we have lived in our house, we have only ever had a very light dusting of snow on the ground.
Today is really one out of the bag, firstly there is quite a thick layer of snow on the ground, and secondly that it has continued to snow on and off (sometimes quite heavily) throughout the morning. Needless to say, Scott is still home from work (at this stage). We have had a lovely morning actually, after playing in the snow with Bree we have had our friends visit for coffee and now just having some lunch :-)
