Caitlyn Paige Hellyer arrived at 2:40pm on Thursday afternoon, weighin 7lb 9oz.

Marthah was in labour from Wednesday afternoon with contractions down to 10 minutes apart throughout Wednesday night which meant a long sleepless night for poor Marthah and into Thursday too. By Thursday lunchtime there was still no improvement, so I shot down to the local shops to get us all some lunch and by the time I got back not more than 20 minutes later, the contractions were 3 minutes apart and very strong!
A quick phone call to the midwife and then we were in the car on our way to the hospital. Arrived at hospital at 2:22pm, Caitlyn arrived at 2:40pm! Very quick and after only two pushes.
We had opted for a water birth which was basically a large, deep bath tub. Marthah got in and the rest of us were on the outside. The rest is details I'm sure a lot of you don't want to know ......
The girls are home now, so we are a household of four now - five at the moment because Marthah's Mum is staying with us to help out.
